Since the outbreak of the war, we have dedicated our building and grounds to receive Ukrainian refugees. Thanks to generous donations, for the past three months we have housed over fifty Ukrainians in en-suite bedrooms.  We have a stable population of forty, mostly women and children. Many of the children have special needs. We provide for their food, shelter, warmth, psychological and medical help. We also provide onsite employment, an art studio and a sewing workshop. In Krakow we maintain an apartment for an unsighted family

Because the war may continue into the winter, we will need  funds to continue to support these families until they become self-sufficient. The Polish government has cut back their support, so we rely  on private donations to cover our expenses.
